I’ve been giggling over this week’s meme by Strawberry Singh. Just when it seemed like all the funniest “problems” had been done, this one occurred to me. Here are Berry’s instructions:

Meme Instructions: Create a #SecondLifeProblems meme image. It can be an image of any avatar doing anything in Second Life. Write a Second Life Problem over the image and share your meme on your blog or any social network with the hashtag #SecondLifeProblems. Back to High School

It’s fitting that I’m re-entering Second Life with a community blogger challenge, one of Strawberry Singh’s delightful Monday Memes. Here are her instructions:

Meme instructions: Share an image of your Second Life avatar smiling for a yearbook photo. Don’t forget to share the link to your post in the comments and add your pictures to the new Second Life Yearbook flickr group, you can also share them in the Blog Memes flickr group if you like.

After playing with the mostly weird avatar expressions available on the default avatar, I decided to go the mesh route. The easy way to smile is to put on a SLink mesh head and use the expressions HUD. That’s what I did with the first picture. I think I look like the head cheerleader!

For the second photo I messed around with Loud Mouth’s mesh mouth, Brandee. It  was more of a pout than a smile, but my friend Ayla assured me that I looked dorky enough for a yearbook photo. It took some GIMPing (I don’t have Photoshop) to even approach a smile, but maybe another mouth would have worked better.
